Working on a textile with silver brooches, I worked collaboratively
With conservators in the lab polishing the silver using high density
polyethylene film and mylar to protect the shirt and rouge cloth followed
by swiping with ethanol to remove all residue being careful not
to overpolish.
At the National Museum of the American Indian I assisted with general maintenance. Which included vacuuming dresses, exhibit cases, and vacuuming the museum’s theater curtain designed by Ramona Sakiestewa of the Hopi.
